Mr. Paul McCarty comes to Hanover School District with a rich background in educational leadership, a passion for excellence in achievement and a heart dedicated to children. Paul earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California in Santa Barbara in History with a coaching minor and a teaching credential. He added additional credentials in Special Education and School Administration from California State University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix. He has taught a range of subjects to children from preschool through 12th grade. His administrative experience includes building level leadership as a special education department chair, principal of a primary school, directing special education programs at the district level, and directing operations for a district. He has worked with students, staff, and the community in large districts serving over 14,000 students and in small community districts such as Hanover.

Paul enjoys outdoor activities including golf and photography and shares a love of baseball with Lyn.

Kirk Hanna Park Event Survey

To Members of the Hanover Community,

Kirk Hanna Park was the first project of the Hanover Community Park Board, which was formed in 1999. The park was built to provide a facility and programs that would encourage a sense of community and provide a place for children and families to gather. We also wanted to provide activities that would bring local folks together. Donations and funds made from events like Summer Movie Night and the Halloween Cemetery Shuffle are used to put on such activities as the Easter Egg Hunt and the Ice Cream Social as well as help with park maintenance and repair. These donations are also the funding source for the annual scholarship awarded to a graduating senior at Hanover High School.

Below you will find a link to our Kirk Hanna Park Event Survey. By filling out this survey, you will help us to know what the community values and wants as far as activities and gatherings. This will help us to plan accordingly. A strong, cohesive community is a great place to live in. Please help us out by taking a few moments to answer the questions on this survey.

Thanks for your support!

P.S. Our first event will be June 19th.  It is a barbeque and bingo event.  If you bring in the survey you will receive your first bingo card free.
